Every Child Deserves a Chance to Play.

Football is more than a game. For many children around the world, it is the one thing that gives them joy, identity, and hope. Since 2015, we have been collecting and donating football gear to underprivileged kids across the world — because no child should be kept off the pitch by something as simple as not having boots.

It started in 2015 with a few kits, balls, and boots collected from players at Alliance Football Club. No big plan — just a simple belief that the gear sitting in our cupboards could change a child's day somewhere else in the world.

Over the first ten years, we collected everything football-related — backpacks, shin guards, jerseys, balls, cones, goalkeeper kits, and boots. Thousands of items donated by players, parents, and the Alliance community.

In 2024, we made a deliberate decision: boots only. Because after ten years of doing this, we learned that the one thing most underprivileged kids have never owned — the thing that changes everything for them — is a pair of football boots. Many of them have only ever played barefoot or in worn-out shoes.

"Sometimes, a pair of boots is more than just gear — it's a child's first step toward believing in their own future."

Football Boots — That's All We Need

This year's focus is simple: as many pairs of football boots as possible. New or gently used. Any size. Any brand. Every pair will go directly to a child who has never owned one.

The response from our players, families, and community has been incredible — but we are always collecting. If you have boots sitting in your cupboard that no longer fit or get used, they belong on a pitch somewhere in the world.
